I was driving home tonight and while driving the car lost all power on the full screen and headlights. This is the second report of the same problem. It was like a blackout at two o clock in the morning. I couldn’t see the speed and the lights went out. It did come back on in immediately.

On July 17, I took my vehicle to Hyundai of Venice due to a safety recall of the automated emergency brake, the dealership told me that they had fixed the recall. On October 10 when I returned for service, I again notified them that the safety features such as the automated emergency brake and the Forward collision warning were not working. They ignored me again. Then on October 21, 2026, I was driving my mother to run an errand before her doctors appointment as I was pulling into a parking spot going no more than 3 mph. The safety features were still not working and I scratched the vehicle on the left of me which was empty. I then stopped the car, got out and took pictures of the license plate and of the scratch, and then looked at my front bumper and saw that I was also scratched, my mother, and I went into the supermarket to speak to the manager and attempt to call for the police, but then my mother noticed their brake lights were on and people were in the car so we hurried out to notify them that we had scratched their car by accident, I gave my insurance information and my mother gave her telephone number and after her doctors appointment, I contacted my insurance company to notify them of the issue. My concern is that I notified Hyundai of Venice twice about this issue, but due to my autism, I feel that they ignored me, and this small accident could have been avoided if they had checked that my safety features on this new vehicle were all fully functional.

When shifting into reserve, a green screen appears. I have to put my car back in to park and then reverse to get my back up camera to start working again. It doesn’t happen all the time but since my last software update, it has been happening more frequently.

Before we noticed the recall. The car had locked up I mean, locked up twice so we took it into Hyundai and they did the upgrade on the driving assist or whatever they did less than a month out of the dealership the car locked up again almost causing a car to come through the back of the car. The first time was a semi almost cleaned us out and sent us to the hospital or maybe killed us. We took the car into the dealership. They did not want to give me a car but they did through customer service and this car is unsafe to drive. Please help.

Sunroof shattered while vehicle was in motion. Glass particles were flying off the roof potentially hitting nearby vehicles. Pulled safely off the interstate and drove home safely on local highways.

The contact owns a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that while driving at approximately 65 MPH, the vehicle hydroplaned, causing the driver to lose steering control, and the vehicle struck a concrete median wall. The frontal structure suffered severe damage, destroying the vehicle; however, the air bags failed to deploy. The driver was transported to the hospital via emergency medical services with back and neck injuries, including a fractured cervical spine. A police report was taken at the scene, and the vehicle was towed. The cause of the air bag non-deployment failure was not determined. Both the dealer and manufacturer were notified of the incident. The contact also stated that the air bags failed to deploy during a prior crash into a tree stump. The failure mileage was 18,000.

The contact owns a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that on three occasions, while his wife was driving on the expressway in rainy weather, the windshield wipers became inoperable. The driver pulled over and remained on the side of the road for up to an hour until the rain had stopped. The vehicle was taken to the dealer twice; however, the contact was informed that no failure was found. The contact later received notification of extended warranty coverage, Campaign Number: Z08, which was associated with the failure. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the contact was informed that the vehicle could not be repaired under the extended warranty because the failure could not be duplicated. However, the contact stated that the notification confirmed that the failure was intermittent; therefore, the windshield wiper nut needed to be replaced. The contact was concerned because his wife was left stranded several times. The manufacturer was notified of the failure by phone and informed the contact that the issue was known and that it would be escalated. The failure mileage was approximately 10,000.

The contact owns a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that while depressing the horn pad on the steering wheel, the horn failed to operate as intended. The vehicle was taken to a local dealer, where it was diagnosed and confirmed that the failure was related with Technical Service Bulletin: 26-BE-003H. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 24,022.

The contact leases a 2025 Hyundai Tucson. The contact stated that while driving 72 MPH, the adaptive cruise control deactivated, and the vehicle decelerated unintendedly to 60 MPH. The messages "Front Assist Collision Warning" and "Front Assist Collision Limited" were displayed. The contact stated that while reversing, the vehicle stopped abruptly, jerking the driver back and forth. Additionally, the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert system was intermittently inoperable. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the front camera software was updated under NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V316000 (Forward Collision Avoidance); however, the failure recurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, and the front camera underneath the bumper was found slanted; the camera was adjusted; however, the failure persisted. The contact stated that there was an abnormal humming sound coming from the radio. The manufacturer was notified of the failures several times and referred the contact back to the dealer for assistance. The failure mileage was approximately 11,000.
