While driving at approximately 50mph the vehicle abruptly and aggressively applied the brake despite there being no vehicles, pedestrians, or any other objects in its path. The red braking display appeared on the dashboard. After the abrupt braking I was able to resume accelerating as normal. This could have caused a serious collision. The vehicle is scheduled to be inspected at the local Honda dealership service department on 10/31. There were no warning lamps just prior to the incident. However, in mid September the vehicle displayed multiple warnings and had to be taken to the dealership service department. They diagnosed the problem being related to low coolant, but weren’t completely certain that was the issue.

The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while driving, the check engine warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, and the contact was informed that the warning lights were reset prior to a diagnostic test and the vehicle could not be diagnosed. The contact stated that while her husband was driving 60 MPH, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the spark plugs and an ignition coil in cylinder #1 was replaced; however, the failure reoccurred. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the valve springs were inspected and adjusted as per the manufacturer's specs; however, there was a misfire during a test drive. The dealer determined that the fuel injectors needed to be replaced. The contact associated the failure with a TSB for fuel injector failures on previous model years. The contact was concerned that the dealer intentionally performed inadequate repairs prior to providing the correct diagnosis. The manufacturer was notified of the failure by phone, and a case was filed for goodwill assistance. The contact was awaiting a resolution. The failure mileage was approximately 77,000.

I have experienced this 2 times once in late august early September of this year 2026 and on [XXX] I was making a left turn onto a street in Long Beach, CA in-between [XXX]. I was going under 25 miles and did not have cruise control or the driver assist for lane steering on and as soon as I started to make a left the vehicle abruptly stopped causing the upper half of my body to jerk forward hurting my lower back again and now I have slight headaches waking up in the morning again since then. Its like the vehicle sensed there was a vehicle in front of me, parked cars on the street or passing by me going in the opposite direction, and the automatic break came on as if I was going to be in a collision which I wasn't. Again, I didn't use the steering assistance in the vehicle, because I stopped using it after the first incident occurred. The second time, [XXX] I was going to slow for cruise control to be on, so I'm not sure why this mechanism even was active unless it's just a built-in feature. The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that the carpet was lifting where the floor mat connected to the retention hooks near the driver's side door panel. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where it was determined that the carpet needed to be replaced; however, the repair was not covered under warranty. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer, where the carpet was replaced twice; however, the failure recurred with the carpet sliding down from underneath the dashboard, shifting away from the door seal and retention hooks. The vehicle was taken to the dealer, where the failure was confirmed, and the carpet was repositioned, but the driver's side seat sliding mechanism became stuck. The dealer determined that the driver's seat motor had failed and it was replaced. The carpet failure persisted and continued sliding down near the pedals. The vehicle was taken to a second dealer, Norm Reeves Honda Superstore West Covina (1840 E Garvey Ave S, West Covina, CA 91791), where an inspection revealed that the driver's side kick panel was loose and not properly secured, and the first dealer had attempted to repair the carpet by using a staple to attach it to the firewall, possibly causing the carpet to rip apart. The contact was referred to the first dealer, who stated that the district manager had not approved the repair because the vehicle was out of warranty. The manufacturer was notified of the failure by phone, and four separate reports were filed. The failure mileage was approximately 10,060.

The headlights are reflective instead of projector headlights. When driving at night you can’t fully see the road ahead. I was turning and almost hit a pedestrian.

A county wide emergency alert broadcast a very loud alert received by my 2024 CRv's infotainment system. This caused a spike in the car's electrical power. This confused the Idle Stop System. This caused my car to stall in the middle of a left turn onto a heavily trafficked road ([XXX] in [XXX].) I was very lucky that the other cars in the intersection were able to stop, so ther was no collision in this particular case. Vehicle: 2024 Honda CR-V I am reporting a longstanding steering safety concern that existed well before my recent accident. I first reported steering problems to an authorized Honda dealership when my vehicle had approximately 1,155 miles. I reported difficulty with the steering wheel returning to center and the steering grabbing to one side. I subsequently returned to Honda multiple times for steering-related concerns. At approximately 2,121 miles I reported the vehicle pulling left or right on the highway. At approximately 4,910 miles I again reported pulling and a sensation that the steering wheel was pulling by itself. At approximately 5,693 miles I reported that the vehicle would move to the right at highway speed and required constant steering correction. At approximately 15,754 miles, I reported that the steering felt very tight and that two hands were necessary because of the high steering effort. At approximately 25,468 miles, after I reported that the steering was sticking, the steering gearbox/power-steering rack was replaced. I subsequently continued experiencing steering-related issues and returned for additional service. Most recently, at approximately 34,603 miles, I again reported tight steering, pulling to the right and shaking at highway speeds. On September 04, 2026, at approximately 38000 miles, while driving in wet conditions, I was involved in a loss-of-control/hydroplaning accident. During the event I was driving in traffic and following other vehicles, I was maintaining control of my vehicle with both hands on the steering wheel. During the incident, I suddenly noticed that the vehicle began pulling or steering sharply to the right, despite my efforts to maintain the vehicle's direction. As I attempted to correct the vehicle's direction and steer to the left, I experienced significant resistance in the steering, and the steering became unusually difficult to turn to the left.
