My 2022 Kia Telluride LX AWD center screen began failing intermittently around October 2025 and failed completely around August 2026. Dates are approximate; 10/29/2025 represents my estimate of about one year ago, not an exact day. Dealer intake was 10/1/2026 at about 75,000 miles; mileage at first failure is unknown. The screen failure prevents the backup-camera image from displaying in reverse, increasing the risk of striking an unseen person or obstacle. No crash, fire, injury, fatality or police report occurred. I also reported intermittent loss of speedometer information. On 10/22 the dealer confirmed the failed center screen and rear-camera display, but said the cluster worked and it had not reproduced the cluster symptom. A common cause is unproven. Speed and warning lamps at first failure are unknown. The dealer recommended head-unit 96560-S9420CDD replacement for $7,799.79. Replacement is not authorized; I requested preservation of components and diagnostic records. After repeated assistance requests and escalation, Kia's 10/29 response concluded its review and denied warranty coverage without technical findings. Please investigate whether loss of the rear-camera display reflects a safety defect requiring a recall. Kia recalls 21V577/22V344 concern earlier-built 2022 Telluride clusters; my reported 4/1/2022 build is outside their ranges. Other Kia recalls address electrical-noise/voltage-related blank clusters (23V298) and voltage-damaged rear cameras (25V426). These are different components and populations, not proof of coverage or a shared cause. Related litigation, O'Connell v. Kia, 8:26-cv-01291, concerns alleged 2023-2025 cluster failures, not my 2022 head unit. Please assess the failed assembly, electrical circuits, software and field data to determine whether existing recall scopes leave other safety failures unaddressed. Warranty expiration does not resolve that safety question.

I am submitting a formal safety complaint regarding a recurring transmission issue with my 2022 Kia Telluride AWD. When descending hills in manual shift mode, the transmission initially provides engine braking but subsequently loses that braking effect. The vehicle then begins accelerating downhill, requiring application of the service brakes to maintain a controlled speed. I recently completed a test drive with a Kia dealership service technician, who personally witnessed and acknowledged the problem. Following that test drive, the head service manager informed me that this issue occurs in some Tellurides following a Kia software update to the transmission. I was further advised that the dealership cannot correct the issue until Kia releases another software update. This response is extremely concerning. I regularly drive in Colorado's mountainous terrain, where predictable engine braking is an important part of controlling vehicle speed during extended descents.

My low beam passenger side headlight started turning on and off randomly. Now it’s both low and high beams. Some days it is on when I start the vehicle and then turns off while driving and vise versa. Some days there is a dash light with it, and some days there is not. Some days it is out all day, while other days it works all day. Then I can get in the vehicle the next day and it turns on and off sparatically.

The contact owns a 2022 Kia Telluride. The contact received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 26V430000 (Seats) and 24V407000 (Seats) and the recall repairs were performed. The contact stated that the seats constantly became hot and lowered down while driving. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The dealer confirmed the failure. The failure mileage was 96,000.

I had my vehicle checked for oil consumption for it failed the test. After Kia approved an engine swap an engine light came up with faulty O2 sensor. Not just one but both O2 sensors. Replaced both sensors but the problem persist. Kia changed the engine harness with the assumption that the technician damaged the harness while installing the engine. My vehicle has been at the dealership for four months and I honestly don’t know what to do.

The AWD coupler is shuttering and making the vehicle shake on turns . It is a common issue with KiA awd systems which is why I don’t understand why it’s not a recall! It puts people’s life’s at risk because upon accelerating at an intersection the binding does not let the full acceleration of the vehicle to take place . I have not yet got it serviced because it’s a pricey job . I just bought the vehicle last month and the warranty expired at the beginning of this month ! How do I purchase a vehicle and expected to to pay for a repair that is known to KIA AWD SYSTEMS !!! My vehicle only has 40k miles on it and from horror stories I hear it goes out more then one time .

Appears to be a parasitic drain on batteries. I just replace the 3rd battery yesterday. Kia does not address the underlying cause of battery drain.

One year ago, my headlight warning came on while driving back to [XXX] from [XXX]. I pulled over and tried wiggling my connector to my light which stopped the waring. I thought maybe just the bad roads had caused the connection to come apart. Throughout the year, the problem has happened. About 4 weeks ago the warning came back on but his time a triangle warning also appeared. I took it into the Lawton Kia dealership to be checked out. I was told it was due to my moister bearing being wet and needed to be changes with my head lights. I approved the work and this was done a week later when the parts were in. With in the week, the light came back on. I took it back in and was told that the headlight along with the pigtail was burnt and both needed to be replaced. the work in going to be over 1300 dollars. My warrant has expired and my extended warranty does not cover replacement of the head lights. At the time this started, my car was still in warranty, and I should have taken it in by I really thought it was loss connections due to the bad roads in [XXX]. I had not driven my vehicle at night since replacing the headlight bulb but if the light burned the pig tail, then this is a defect in the manufacture of this vehicle. I have filled a case Study with Kia but they do not willing to do anything about this because there is not a recall at this time for the headlights. My case is # XXX. Sunroof / moonroof failing close. Driving on roads / high speeds exposed to the elements for a moonroof that will not close leaving me and my family in danger when its our only vehicle and means of transportation.
