Defect description

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and HUSK-e terminal trucks. The hazard warning lights may turn off when the ignition is in the 'Off' position. Safety consequence

Hazard lights that do not remain on cannot warn other drivers of a disabled vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Manufacturer remedy

OEV field service will install a new hazard light wire harness and update the software, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by November 24, 2025. Owners may contact OEV customer service at 1-866-688-5223. OEV's number for this recall is 2025-SRC-07.

Defect description

Orange EV is recalling certain 2024 HUSK-e, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2017-2024 T-Series trucks. The pintle hook partially blocks the center of the backup lights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Safety consequence

Obstructed backup lights can reduce the vehicle's visibility to pedestrians or other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

Defect description

Orange EV is recalling certain 2023-2024 HUSK-e, 2023-2025 e-TRIEVER, and 2017-2024 T-Series trucks. Defect description

Orange EV (OEV) is recalling certain 2017-2024 T-Series and 2023-2024 e-TRIEVER terminal trucks. The Emergency Response Guide (ERG), operator, maintenance, and service manuals incorrectly state that the emergency stop button in the vehicle cab will shut off and lock out the high voltage system.
