Defect description
Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The adhesive securing the solar panels to the roof may fail, allowing the solar panel to detach.
Safety consequence
A detached solar panel can become a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.
Free manufacturer remedy
Dealers will install mechanical fasteners, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 11, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall is M910059. This recall supersedes NHTSA recall 26V042.

Defect description
Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025-2026 Lineage recreational vehicles. The driver and passenger seat bases may have not been tightened properly. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, “Seating Systems.”
Safety consequence
A loose base may allow the seat to move during a crash, increasing the risk of injury.
Free manufacturer remedy
Dealers will inspect and properly tighten the seat bases as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 15, 2026. Owners may contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679. Grand Design's number for this recall M910060.

The seat base on the driver and front passenger seat may have been improperly tightened, causing the base to become loose. Grand Design RV, LLC (Grand Design) is recalling certain 2025 Lineage 25FW motorhomes. The battery warming pad was installed incorrectly, which can damage internal wiring and cause an electrical short.
Safety consequence
