Defect description

Aluminum Trailer Company (ATC) is recalling certain model year 2016-2017 Bumper Pull seven or eight foot wide Toy Hauler trailers manufactured October 1, 2015, to October 31, 2016. If the fuel tank becomes loose and detaches from the vehicle, a fuel leak may result, increasing the risk of a fire.

Manufacturer remedy

ATC will notify owners and dealers will replace the mounting bolts, free of charge. The recall began on January 13, 2017. Owners may contact ATC customer service at 1-574-773-2440. ATC's number for this recall is ARVFTANK.
