Question 1

How many model years of the General Coach M1035 have had recalls?

Accepted Answer

try.vin indexes 4 model years of the General Coach M1035 in the NHTSA recall database. Choose a year above to see every recall campaign issued for that specific model year, including the defect description, safety consequence, and the remedy General Coach will perform.

Question 2

Is the General Coach M1035 a reliable vehicle?

Accepted Answer

A recall is not the same as a reliability problem — many popular vehicles on the road have multiple recalls because they sell in large volumes and defects eventually surface at scale. NHTSA recall counts should be read alongside owner complaints, crash-test ratings, and defect investigations, all of which are linked from each model year page.

Question 3

Are General Coach M1035 recall repairs free?

Accepted Answer

Usually. Federal law requires General Coach to remedy recalls on the M1035 free of charge at an authorized General Coach dealer, whoever owns it now. The exceptions are vehicles first sold more than 15 years before the recall was issued and tires bought more than 5 years before it.

Question 4

Where can I check if my specific General Coach M1035 has an open recall?

Accepted Answer

Enter the 17-character VIN at nhtsa.gov/recalls — NHTSA's VIN lookup tells you whether your specific M1035 has an unrepaired recall. The model-year pages below list every campaign for the General Coach M1035.
