Question 1

Accepted Answer

Question 2

Is the Cottrell C-7512MST a reliable vehicle?

Accepted Answer

A recall is not the same as a reliability problem — many popular vehicles on the road have multiple recalls because they sell in large volumes and defects eventually surface at scale. NHTSA recall counts should be read alongside owner complaints, crash-test ratings, and defect investigations, all of which are linked from each model year page.

Question 3

Are Cottrell C-7512MST recall repairs free?

Accepted Answer

Usually. Federal law requires Cottrell to remedy recalls on the C-7512MST free of charge at an authorized Cottrell dealer, whoever owns it now. The exceptions are vehicles first sold more than 15 years before the recall was issued and tires bought more than 5 years before it.
